Co-founders Dani and Stephanie have more than 35 years of combined experience working with children and their families.

Dani Seligman, B.Ed., M.Ed.

Dani has worked in education for more than a decade. She completed the Continuing Education program at McGill University and has a master’s degree from the University of Toronto’s Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. She is a Special Education Specialist, has a certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and is working toward achieving her Guidance Counsellor certification. Dani has worked with children of various ages in academic, recreational, and private tutoring settings. She enjoys spending time outside with her family, including her three young children and her rescue dogs Nash and Mac. She is the author of I Hate Rules — a book about a real kid, by a real mom, for real families.

 

Stephanie Levy, H.B.A., M.A. in Child Study and Education

Stephanie has worked with children in educational and recreational settings for more than 20 years. She was a teacher at an independent elementary school for more than a decade, where she focused on tailoring the educational experience in her classroom to best meet the individual needs, strengths, and learning styles of her students. She has tutored students from kindergarten to high school and provided academic guidance to families. Stephanie has an Honours of Business Administration degree from the Ivey Business School at Western University and a Master of Arts in Child Study and Education from the Institute of Child Study at the University of Toronto. During the summer months, she is the head counsellor at Camp White Pine. She is a mom to three young boys.
